Introduction to the Farsi Language

At the end of the course, the learner is expected to:
* become familiar with the sounds of the Farsi alphabet;
* be able to recognize about 100 new words;
* understand few basic phrases;
* be able to engage in short conversations.

This course is intended for learners without any previous knowledge or exposure to the Farsi language. The aim of this course is to teach minimum of Farsi vocabularies and phrases needed before proceeding to the next Reading & Writing course.

Although all learners aged 7 years and above can benefit from this course; the core is set to target learners between 7-12 years old. Learners above 12 years of age with no knowledge of the Farsi language are advised to take our free online consultation sessions before registering in this course.

To help in memorizing and internalizing the content of the course – wherever possible - we have integrated the James Asher’s Total Physical Response or TPR approach.

In this course, the medium of communication is the English language. Parents are advised to be present during each online session to provide additional support, especially if the learner is not familiar enough with the English language.
