By the end of the course, the learner is expected to:

be familiar with the notes on the violin;
know how to read notes and play them on the violin;
play simple to advanced melodies on the violin.

The violin is the smallest and highest-pitched of the string instrument family. Violins are important instruments in a wide variety of musical genres.

In this course, you will first learn the notes and how to read them and then will start your journey towards playing the violin.

Additionally, if you have had some previous lessons in this instrument and wish to learn more advanced topics and skills, your designated music instructor will provide you with a tailored course plan/content to help you improve your skills.
