Learning to Play the Recorder Flute

At the end of the course, the learner is expected to:

become familiar with the correct way of holding the recorder and so with finger positioning;
be able to play a few basic melodies either via hearing or from notes.

Recorder flute is an interesting woodwind musical instrument. While some schools have popularized recorders as beginners’ instruments for children, they can also be played professionally by adults.
In this course, depending on the age of the learner, the focus will be on either playing by ear or from notes .
